I would recommend starting a zazzle account and make these available as prints, postcards, invitations (halloween and all), tshirts, etc. They get a lot more traffic than deviantart does. Great work in any event!

Amazing how you capture the appearance of each, but also turn them into something the polar opposite of how we know them.
Snow White with the dwarves is incredible, but they all are for that matter.

Love the details (particularly the good fairies being trapped by Sleeping Beauty and Simba's flesh in Nala's mouth). I think what works about these kinds of projects is the mixture of nostalgia and seeing the characters in a new light (which is why things like Kingdom Hearts and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are so popular).

Though I am very impressed by the intricate aesthetics of the pictures, I am left wondering what inspired these works?
Was it the way the Disney princesses are really twisted role models for young girls? They hardly are role models as they portray a false reality of 5inch waists and 2inch feet, eyes larger than their hands, and hair as flawless as porcelain. Yes they are cartoons, but as they are the image presented to young minds before they can form opinions of their own, they heavily skew the view of reality. The message conveyed is also one of simplicity that cannot be absolute. “Follow your heart” is a load of bull because one must use her/his head when situations arise and not simply follow hormonal instincts that go away once the adrenaline rush has subsided and heartbeat has slowed down. And they all lived happily ever after… just kidding, they had to some rough patches after two miscarriages, suspicions of affairs, marriage counseling and the kids went off to live on their own. Eventually they did get to clean out the garage and build that swing set for two. That was something of a happy ever after.

These are amazing images and you really have to know your Disney cartoons to get all the details that you did! Mulan being bandaged up, fairies in the latern on aurora, the fork as ariel's hand, the painted rose in alice, Gus gus looking all fierce with cinderella! True crazy disney fans like myself can't get enough. but alas timon and pumba can never look evil to me! great work! <3 it!

these are amazing! i agree with the previous comment. a twisted esmeralda would be nice to see, along with tinkerbell.
they all gave me the chills except bell from beauty and the beast. from seeing the other ones i feel as if that could go darker and deeper.
