  13. Hum... Hello...
Sorry for my bad english (I'm french. Frenchie <3).
I want to tell you I find that you've an enormous talent. Your Twisted Princesses are just perfect. Imagination, ideas, draw, colors... All is a success.
    And now, I've a question.
( I hope that I will be clear, cause I don't speak English very well, as you have noticed it).
I wonder if you would agree to autorize me to use your twisted princess to illustrate my fanfiction about Disney. I need a cover to print it (for a private using), and I would use these drawings : by quoting your name on the cover naturally.
It's very important for me, and I hope your agree (or disagree... T_T)
    I wait for your answer.
Thank you to make us dream...
And once again, sorry, sorry and sorry for my bad English.

  20. I am a graphic artist myself and a closet Disney movie lover. (Ok no so closet) but I came across a blog linking this site asking if you were gonna make a "Twisted" Tiana from the Princess and the Frog coming out. A twisted "sistah" (i so dont use that word in everyday speech, even tho I kinda am one. I guess) would be awesome. Pocahantas is my all time fav Princess and hers, Jasmine, and Snow white are my favs. You deserve some kind of award for creative genius-ness for these. Love em dude.

    ReplyDelete
  21. you rock dude i love your twisted mind!!!
ever thought of doing movie stars??? like angelina jolie, nicole kidman, julia roberts and jen aniston??? or even rock star... axl rose and slash.... mick jagger and keith richards???

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wowww! So good. You're awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  32. hey, those ideas deserves an award or something... your vision of "twisted princess" is an evolution of what a princess could be in a world without romanticism XD. Pocahontas and Sleeping Beauty: 5 stars!

  41. Mr. Thomas, these are simply wonderful! I blogged about them and really, I would love to have your permission to have a t-shirt for myself printed up, because Disney would never give you the rights to do that (trust me, I'm a lawyer, so I am willing to assume the risk).

Unless Disney were smart - I am a regular at the Park (season pass holder) with my kids and the sale of merchandise based upon The Nightmare Before Christmas is staggering, so your work would be a best seller. Disneyland has "embraced" the "off the grid" type folks - look here at my Bat's Day pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/71803906@N00/sets/72157617594743247/. So why not your stuff?

I want Twisted Mickey and Twisted Goofy!

    ReplyDelete
  45. A friend of mine e-mailed me your site and I am very impressed. I have a question for you. I liked your reinterpretation of the Disney Princesses and was wondering if you have done any Nintendo characters? I am an old school nerd and would love to see Princess Peach, Mario and the gang "twisted".

I would say the Cinderella one is my favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Okay, these are pretty freaking awesome. Good job!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I recognize some of these poses from the Monster Manual, yeah? can't place the creatures but Jane and Jasmine, and probably Pocahontas look familiar. cool stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  50. These are so amazing and well drawn...I just love them...Sleeping Beauty REALLY creeps me out with her sewn shut eyes, but well done! I am a huge Disney fan but I also like twisted things that aren't the norm. Thanks for sharing these! AMAZING! :)

  70. It's great how you are flying in the face of the marketing Princesses push going on right now. Love it! Make Disney's money boys squirm...

    ReplyDelete
  71. These are utterly brilliant. Most people do not realize that Disney is responsible for much of Western Society's complete misunderstanding about wildlife. It stared with Bambi and went down hill from there.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Fantastic!
As we always see in Disney's fantasies, all is very softy, sopy, unatural, artificial...well, it's a fantasy!
But your work just shakes it off!
I really would like to see a Disney's picture with those princesses (I mean, yours)
    Congratulations! Your work great!
Regards from Brazil (and forgive my bad english)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Amazing work! Can't find words to say how inspiring your art is. My favorite is the Snow White and the seven dwarves.
    Regards from Brazil,
    Vinicius.

    ReplyDelete
  74. i really like jane's petticoat turned loin cloth. also ariel's arm-fork. i hope that was meant to be humorous, 'cause i thought that was pretty funny.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think you now need to do an Asmerelda and Meg picture because these are brilliant.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Man, now that Disney owns Marvel, they could so run with this idea. An alternate universe with these Disney women as real badasses would be so great. Kudos man.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Your Works Are Awesome !! Take it from a independent comic book artist. Id love to have you on my team !!!!

I'd love to see if the evil version of tinker is like I imagined

    ReplyDelete
  109. I love these pictures, truly inspired! These actually helped me come up with my Halloween costume this year! A "twisted" Christine from Phantom of the Opera (I have a mask and I'm not afraid to use it!)

    ReplyDelete
  115. Holy hell, these are inCREDible. I'm a lifelong fan of Disney, but I sure can appreciate these!! I'd love to see more -- other Disney characters perhaps (not just princesses, though they're certainly the most ironic)? Stitch maybe?! ;-) Regardless, beautiful work!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I'm from South Africa, and I have to tell you, these are incredible. Hands down some of the most innovative stuff I've seen in a while. :-) Don't stop, and don't let anyone limit you!

I saw your art work on this website: http://geektyrant.com/2009/09/twisted-disney-princesses-art-is-awesome/

and I just had to come by and let you know that I think you have one of the most outrageous imaginations!
I LOVE each one, and my favorites are snow white, and sleeping beauty.

It would be freaking awesome if these were made into a short film, or even comic...
    Keep up the great work!

    ReplyDelete
  118. You probably don't need another compliment on the amazing job you did but BRAVO! I hope you don't mind, I blogged about each of these images (gave them a little story line) @ purplemonkeydishwater.blogspot.com

  131. Ok, you're clearly violating copyright here. If Disney's smart, they'll offer to buy the images rather than suing like jackasses. They'll stick them on tee-shirts and sell them at Hot Topic.

If you're smart, you'll ask for a percentage.

Way to go - very nice work.

    ReplyDelete
  132. These are amazing! I'd love to blog about them! I hope it's okay if I use a picture or two and link back to you.

    ReplyDelete
  133. These are just amazing... I wish Belle was a little more detailed like the other ones are though..

    ReplyDelete
  134. I too, love your prints (especially the Mulan and Snow White ones) and hope you keep making more! Princess Tiana would be dope once the movie comes out...don't forget about her! :) And if you could do an old school video game collection, like another commenter mention, that would me sick! Keep up the great work!
